Celebrating our Community

Dear Community,

Whether you joined us at Two Bear Farm for the Harvest Dinner Fundraiser in August, chose to donate to CRYJ during the Great Fish Community Challenge, stopped by the office to say hello and to learn more about what we do, or shared a CRYJ story or social media post with your friends over these past months,we think you are awesome.

As individual donors and volunteers, supporting businesses and collaborating organizations - you continue an unwavering and proactive investment in the health and wellbeing of incredible young people in the Flathead Valley.

We have never been more aware of how much we appreciate this community we share.

Thank you!

Highlights from the 2018 Harvest Dinner Fundraiser

The Harvest Dinner fundraiser at Two Bear Farm has been CRYJ’s annual Fundraiser since 2015 - close to our hearts and highly anticipated by our enthusiastic guests and donors.

What makes this event so special is the unique chance to see CRYJ youth in action. We gather to hear their stories, celebrate their successes and make connections. The evening culminates with an energetic Donation Blitz - a challenge to offer needed support to sustain Accountability and Empowerment workshops for more than 200 local TEENS a year. This year’s gifts neared $40,000!

A special thank you to our amazing 2018 youth apprentices and their families for their hard work and brave speaking at the event, Two Bear Farm for sharing their beautiful and abundant setting, the illustrious Chef Seth (and youth volunteers) for the delicious 4 course meal and passionate support of all things youth development, the fearless Dru Rafkin - CRYJ volunteer and MC for the Donation Blitz and our tireless CRYJ Board, families and volunteers! TOGETHER, WE are creating meaningful opportunities for local teens!

Some of our favorite highlights for the Great Fish Challenge this year include:

  • Collaborating with other youth-related organizations at Bonsai Brewing Project in August--tapping into our inner teenagers together

  • Meeting new neighbors and friends--hearing about concerns, challenges and innovations

  • Celebrating community with the other 49 organizations participating in the Great Fish Challenge at the Color Run and Community Celebration in September!
